So, this is a picture of my office (before all the books and computers were moved in), which I now share with 3 or 4 other people. My desk is over in the far left corner (afraid you can't see it very well for the shelving) where I can get splashed with sunlight from windows facing both east and south. They've installed shades on those windows now, which is good. The sunlight was giving me a headache every day.
I'm finding the job depressing at best, although I'm feeling extremely ungrateful for it. Let's just say the college I'm now employed with does not treat its students, curriculum, faculty or staff like my alma-mater did and does - AT ALL. I am missing my land of Californian bliss already.
