I'm pretty sure that wouldn't lead me to contemplate the beautiful. It gives not so much the impression of "sick" as of a mess that I need to clean up before I can relax.

What kind of actuality did your potential jackolantern aquire?
In the campus-wide pumpkin carving competition, our wing in St. Monica's chose this design. :) It was the most talked about pumpkin on campus!
So, yes, it was a great idea.
