Yeah, it just occurred to me . . . I miss my car.. . . she looks kinda like this. (Yes, we refer to her with a feminine pronoun and she has a name - Suzie, the Swinger.) I'm afraid both of the cars pictured above are in in better shape than my Suzie, but she could look this good, if I had the money to fix her up a little - and, moreover, her mileage is really low, she runs pretty well, and her heater works really well. That's definitely a plus.
I get to see her this Saturday, though. Yay!

...not that brakes are important...
Welcome home, Em, if that's a proper thing to say from a thousand miles away.
...or gas mileage...
I hope your break is going pleasantly and well. How's the redhead doing as a bagger?
...sorry, I REALLY didn't mean that in an insulting way.
My brakes are FINE. Now, the gas mileage . . . well, you know . . . it's worth it for the chug chug of her little carborator. Nobody makes cars like her anymore.
Had to pick Matt up in her yesterday (his car is in Florida still) - - he never looks quite comfortable in my little old lady. I just love her to pieces, though. Especially when I have to cheer her on in the winter "Cooome on, Suzie - you can do it! Up and at 'em!": highway speed is just rather ambitious for a cold, 33 year old engine.
Matt isn't a bagger right now, though. He's been put to work in the seafood department, and, due to a miscommunication between the owner and the personnel manager, I am in seafood, too. :( I'll blog more on that later.
gosh, I wonder how THAT odd coincidence occurred.
Do you like fish?
