And that is cause for much rejoicing. I now have an entire weekend to accomplish all the things on my to-do list, and it's still early enough for me to retain the foolish hope that I might actually do so.
My class this morning was interesting but it was math, so I won't bore you trying to write something about that. The only thing worse than reading Aristotelian jargon is reading Euclidian jargon, so I will oblige my audience.
Last night's seminar was excellent. I finally figured out the rationale for 940 pages of madness - oh yes, I have some inkling of what Cervantes was trying to accomplish with his knight errant, Don Quixote. My tutor thought that I was on the right track when I proposed the thesis, and we all pursued the theory until we went over class time by 25 minutes. All the pieces just fell in place - brilliant, I say. Cervantes was brilliant, although it takes some serious thinking to figure out what he's up to, which is, after all, half of his point.
Have a great day, everyone!
